Australia contributions 73 helpful votes. Ok room but noisy and soiled hallways. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and were assigned what we were told is the new wing.

The room was newly refurbished and comfortable and adequate for 2 adults and a child. But the hall outside the room was badly soiled and there was substantial noise in the hall all night but we were there on a Friday.

There are also nice views of the MacDonnell ranges from the other side of the hotel, but we were told we could not get such a view with the 2 queen beds.

The gym was great and the breakfast was also good in a covid environment. But the noise and rough common areas meant we only stayed here one night instead of our planned 4 nights.

We moved to the Doubletree next door which we found better. But we note the pool is better here than the Doubletree if that is important to you.

I'll start by saying that the service here was very good. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and the front desk staff very welcoming.

The room was also very nice, amazingly comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful bathroom with rain shower - one of the best bathrooms I've seen in any hotel I've stayed at.

Very clean, no issues at all in this regard. We had dinner one night at the Juicy Rump. I thought the food was pretty average had the lamb shank which was nice enough but the minuscule amount of mashed potato that came with it, along with the ratatouille that was cold and bland but my partner thought his meal was pretty good.

Probably wouldn't eat there again, was definitely overpriced. We ordered a couple of things through room service which were alright, but again, pricey.

The thing that lets this hotel down and will prevent us from ever staying there again is the ridiculous and relentless noise, making it impossible to relax.

Even with our TV on and listening to things through headphones on my laptop, the noise just di not stop. We booked for three nights and ended up leaving before the third night.
